My rating: 4 Stars

My opinion: I love this series more and more with each release. One of the things I love most about this author is his gift to let readers know the whodunit, but not the howdunit. As the story reveals, not only are the crimes ingenious, but the author often has readers scratching heads when he has told readers at the beginning who the killer is. I love it! It is unique in the genre and always want me leaving more.  A Goodreads friend of mine stated it beautifully when she stated that Higashino writes "puzzle mysteries" with extremely concise writing not laden down with emotions.
